Men’s group training is a dynamic and challenging environment designed to bring the very best out of our clients and members.

Spread over 12 weeks, it combines tough circuit based conditioning with solid strength work to effectively improve the health, strength and overall wellbeing of everyone involved.

Launched in September 2016 the group training has changed and evolved to take into account feedback from members, type of seasonal weather and the development of the clients involved. I get a great buzz out of group coaching and our environment is second to none. The guys have a great camaraderie, helping to encourage and motivate each other week to week. This has meant that when we induct new members into an existing class, they feel comfortable and relaxed and are able to fit in straight away. They understand that everyone is there to better themselves.

We don’t have ‘show offs’. We don’t foster unhealthy competition. It’s about having fun, with a group of people that wouldn’t have normally met and working together to make the group training the very best in our area.

So much so that 70% of all our founding clients are still with us today. In our experience people tend to quit services but very rarely do they quit a community. This is what SPC means to our clients and what we are trying to build upon.

What I have enjoyed the most of out the group training is watching the development and progression of all our clients. Some had serious injuries, others had illnesses and most had mobility issues brought on by various working conditions. Improving their mobility, fitness, strength and quality of life is incredibly rewarding. A lot of our members are at an age where careers and life can get in the way all too easily. As a result we make sure we use our time efficiently so as to get the very most out of each session they have with us.

Whether you’re 25 or 55 I fully believe anyone can benefit from our group training regardless of the goal. When a new member joins they generally have a predetermined idea of what they can accomplish; it’s up to us to push them beyond their limitations and help them exceed all the expectations they had of themselves. This is something I truly love to do.

The hardest part is always making the decision to join in the first place, but don’t worry, we’ll take care of the rest.
