The Benefits of Group Training

There is a slight misconception when discussing group training.

These days when you mention it, people’s thoughts tend to swing toward large classes of 25+ people such as Zumba, Body Attack and Spinning.

Now don’t get me wrong, those classes have their place and they are a great way to get fit. However, where they sometimes fall short, is in their repetitive nature and sometimes one-dimensional approach to fitness. They don’t tend to be periodised or progressive and as a result, participants may reach a plateau with their training goals. Subsequently they can feel dejected, demoralised and resort to endless cardio in the gym on their own.

Group training at SPC is something else entirely. Think small structured groups, with dedicated focused coaching with planned, periodised workout schedules – designed to get the very best out of everyone.

Some of the benefits of group personal training are the following;

  • Motivating
  • Structured
  • Engaging
  • Specific
  • Accountability
  • Improved adherence
  • Fun
  • Community

I can go on and on about the myriad of benefits but the above signify the most important in our opinion

If you are wanting a training programme that pushes you that extra mile, challenges you to learn new skills and accomplish together as a team, this is for you.

SPC Group Training

Our program is designed to develop our clients to the best of their ability. This includes teaching correct training techniques, tried and tested exercise principles, nutritional advice and supplementary training plans.

We work with injuries, limitations and various levels of experiences to make sure everyone can accomplish their goals together.

The groups are hard work, challenging, fun and rewarding. We push our clients to become a stronger, fitter and healthier version of themselves.

When it comes to training we are all guilty of getting bogged down in the perfect preparation, the perfect plan, rather than actually getting started. If this is you, and you aren’t one of the rare ‘lone wolf’ types who manage to self-motivate and go it alone, then why not get in contact today?

The group training has evolved immensely over the last year and combined with a wealth of experiences and coaching knowledge, we truly believe it’s one of the better group training programs in our area.

Why not come and see for yourself?

If you would like more information on group training, please get in touch! Our details are on the contact page. We are always happy to help.
