Do I need to pay an additional membership fee to use SPC?
No. There are no membership fees, attendance and payment is by appointment only.
Are there changing and parking facilities available?
Yes, there are parking facilities on site at no extra cost and we have changing rooms and showers available for use.
Can children train at SPC?
Yes, we offer coaching to children of all ages, whether it is sport specific, general fitness or rehabilitation from an injury.
Do you coach sports teams?
Yes, we coach teams from various different sports in and outside of our facility. We are also available to coach remotely as we have equipment that can be transported.
Do I already have to be fit to train at SPC?
Absolutely not. We train individuals from all walks of life, whether they are new to fitness, a regular gym-goer or an amateur/professional athlete. All of our coaches have specific skill sets that enable us to offer the best possible training for each individual depending on their goals and experiences.
I am a student at Worthing College, can I use SPC?
We have an affiliation with Worthing College Academy of Sport whereby we manage their strength and conditioning programme for all their sport teams. If you are a member of the Academy, you will benefit from strength and conditioning sessions in our facility as part of your overall training. If you are a general college student, you can purchase private training sessions at a reduced rate.
What can I expect when I arrive for my first session?
You will be welcomed at SPC by a coach where you will have an initial consultation to fill out all the necessary health questionnaires, discuss your goals and previous training experiences. Your session will commence in our relaxed and friendly facility, where you will be training in an environment only filled by coaches and their clients.
Can I be a member of another gym and still use SPC?
Yes, as we do not offer memberships, we encourage our members to be as active as possible. In addition to your sessions at SPC we will offer training advice for home and gym based workouts.
Can I train even if I'm injured or ill?
Whilst we can work around existing injuries and help with rehabilitation, we are not medically trained to diagnose injury or illnesses. Always consult your doctor before beginning an exercise programme.
