SPC was recommended to me by my friend Jill who had been doing personal training with Nathan and also the SPC women’s group with Michelle.
At the time I was doing yoga and aerobics but I loved the sound of SPC and their training and was increasingly aware that the strength and resistance work they offered could be of immense benefit to ALL ages – even senior me!
I did a couple of months of personal training work with Nathan and really loved his approach; encouraging, supportive and fun.
The whole ethos of the place was very apparent. It was so inclusive and I felt as valued and important as everyone else.
After sustaining an ankle injury (not at the gym!), I decided to stop my aerobics and instead join the SPC women’s group run by Michelle. Here I have met a lovely group of ladies and pushed my training further still.
There are not enough superlatives to describe my SPC experience so far but suffice to say I feel confident, focused and never ‘judged’. My general attitude towards my own health and well being is so improved now.
The proof being that my high blood pressure is now at an all time low!
I know that with the encouragement of Nathan and Michelle I will become stronger and fitter, maybe even being fitter at 60 than I was at 50!
I have to say how inspirational it is that the young team at SPC are so visionary, inclusive and imaginative with their clients – it’s not always the case and I applaud them for that. Lastly of course, whatever would we all do without the mighty Dennis at the helm!!
Thank you all so much for making the difference.
