Coaches, Parents, Girls and Women, a paradigm shift in the world of health and nutrition has begun!
Why do women feel flat despite eating well and working out the same way as their male colleagues? The answer lies in gender bias.
Historically, sports nutrition studies were conducted on men and the results assumed to be the same for women.
Above, Dr Stacy Sims (PhD, Environmental Exercise Physiologist and Nutrition Scientist specialising in sex differences) explains why this this presumption is not correct. Her talk will empower all females to ask questions of the sports nutrition status quo to find out what is the optimum nutrition and exercise guidance for females.

How Does This Impact SPC?
As part of the SPC Women group training programme, I will be including further information on this subject and tailoring the training during the next 12 week phase. We will also produce further articles and information evenings to help all our female SPC clients understand their body’s unique response to exercise and how reading general guidelines may be holding you back from achieving your goals.
If you would like further information on how we tailor your exercise regime based on the above information – contact me hereĀ

SPC is still open!
Our indoor SPC facility is currently closed due to the Tier 4 restrictions implemented in Sussex.
However, SPC are committed to the continued health and wellbeing of our members and are currently offering personal training services using our outdoor facility only in line with recommended government guidelines regarding Covid-19.
All group training sessions will be held online on January 4th 2021 until we are able to resume back at the SPC facility.
